Truly great Mission Statements often take a very long time to discover. Yes, discover. Great Mission Statements are clear, concise, and almost "sing" when they are spoken. They speak to the core reason an entity exists. The fundamental purpose that is the cornerstone for every decision you make, every function and operation you put in place, every product or process you design.

This says it all. It is a call to arms. It is motivational, inspirational and underlies every action and decision taken at TNC. The Latin Business Association Mission Statement is longer and incorporates the "how" as well as the "what."

"To foster the growth of Latino businesses by creating the fastest and most effective business, educational and advocacy opportunities."

The process of developing a great Mission Statement usually involves many people at a company and a considerable effort to focus on the true essence of the company. This process usually involves an independent facilitator with no vested interest in the outcome.
